The Auburn Fire Rescue Department will be hosting its annual poster contest breakfast. The breakfast will start at 8:30 A.M, Thursday November 12, 2015 at the Auburn Fire Rescue Department located at 47 Auburn Street. Media organizations are invited.
Each year students from grades 1 through 5 submit posters reflecting the fire prevention theme of the year. This year's theme was "HEAR THE BEEP WHERE YOU SLEEP: EVERY BEDROOM NEEDS A WORKING SMOKE ALARM."
All of the student posters were great and reflected the need for having working working smoke detectors. The posters were judged by firefighters and the public through Facebook.
